URGENT PayPal Update

Hey, we’ve updated our PayPal integration on TRAKTRAIN. In order to make it available for your page, it requires an additional set up through the Payment Info page.

We’ve been using PayPal Adaptive Payments integration since we’ve started TRAKTRAIN, but in 2023 it doesn’t correspond with modern payment system requirements. In short, we’ve partnered with PayPal to provide you with the best service for today. This new integration allows you to simplify the payment process, make it more secure, and also provides way more payment options for your customers to choose from.

However, we won’t drop the previous PayPal integration support until you connect to the new method, but we HIGHLY recommend you to switch to the new method ASAP to potentially get more sales.

• Less drop rate during checkout & potentially more sales;
• More options to pay for your customers;
• Better international payments support.

Please note that the split sales feature is not yet supported with the new PayPal API. We advise you to enable the “Force split sales” feature on the payment info page.
This feature is only showing the old PayPal checkout button for the tracks that have split sales enabled, otherwise there’ll be all your payment methods available for your customers to checkout with.
